Do you only get one match or do you get to choose between several?
First, understand we won’t match everyone. (For example, if we sense someone is on QualifiedDate with nefarious intentions, we won’t find a match for them. If someone is not a self-professing Christian, we won’t consider their application.) If we find a match, we introduce you to someone we think you could marry. You don’t have to marry them, but that’s what we do- match you with someONE.
How is this platform different from other dating “apps”?
We are a matchmaking service not a dating app. Dating apps want to send you on countless dates and keep you paying. QualifiedDate seeks to match you with a person who, on paper, would make a great spouse. If we can’t find you a match, you don’t pay (excluding the application fee).
How is the matching actually done?
Brilliant people have built some brilliant technology that prioritizes being equally yoked (2 Cor. 6:14) with someone. Our Christian matchmakers take over from there and narrow it down to one person. You are not in the driver’s seat. You are paying us to find someone for you.
How long does it take to get matched?
Maybe forever, meaning we may not be able to match you. (Who is who they say they are? Do creepers know they’re creepers?) Our goal is to do this within a few months but could be less or take longer.
What is the ratio of male to female applicants?
Until we receive a larger pool of applicants, the ratio will continue to fluctuate and may not provide an accurate representation. We appreciate your patience as we work towards gathering a more substantial dataset.
Does my reference have to be a pastor?
No, they need to be someone who is spiritually mature and understands your faith and relationship with Jesus.
Do you contact the pastoral reference? What do you ask them?
We give your match the opportunity to contact your pastoral reference. They can ask anything they want, should they choose to.
When does your pastor actually get asked for a reference?

How long are the videos supposed to be? Are they supposed to be formal?
In the first 90 second video, tell us who you are as a person, what you like to do, and a little bit about your personality. Do not overthink the video! Keep it casual.

Is physical attraction taken into consideration (knowing it is not the most important factor)?
We focus on matching you with a potential partner based on your Christian values and commonalities, aiming to facilitate meaningful connections. Our QD Team will spend hours reviewing and praying over each match.
What is the age range? I’m in my mid-30s and don't want 20 year olds.
In the questionnaire, you will be asked “Would you prefer to date someone younger or older than you?”. The QD Team will take that into consideration and you will be contacted to determine if an “out of the ordinary” age difference is acceptable.

Not a dating app…we have tried to create barriers to keep creepers away. This is for Christians wanting to be married. Our AI technology narrows it down based on faith compatibility, and then a live Christian matchmaker matches you to someone. You will be responsible for calling their pastoral or spiritual mentor reference. This will help you vet the person as well.
Explain the cost and why you say this is better than a dating app?
Dating apps are incentivized to keep you single with an average spend of $250 per user annually. Matchmaking is effective but expensive at $5,000 to $60,000. We’re offering Christian matchmaking at a dating app price point. You are paying to be matched with one person (not dating twenty people). As a result, we won’t be able to match everyone (for example, we can’t and won’t match creepers, even if they fill out an application).
Why won’t my answers save in the questionnaire?
We have found that there are still some older devices and web browsers that don't like new technology. That's okay - we have a solution! After completing each section of the questionnaire, if the green "Save Answers" button does not save your information, please use this alternate form by clicking the link that reads [View Optional Data Form] in the gray box at the top of the questionnaire. You will see an identical questionnaire form, but one that uses a bit older saving technology...for those older devices.

If I am not matched, do I get a refund for my $25?
Your $25 is an application fee. If you are not walking with Jesus, you just wasted $25. If you’re a creeper, you just wasted $25. If you apply to college and don’t get in- they don’t refund your app fee. This is bigger than college.
